Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Transformative Growth

To this day I still think that was a sick term that Allstate used to justify massive layoffs last year to spin it like it benefited employees. Ever since they have executed that plan things have went downhill.

So glad to leave this toxic culture. Former Esurance employee for 10 years. Used to be great. That term Transformative Growth always bugged the he-l out of me. What does it even mean? I guess it means lay a bunch of people off so the existing people are buried and then try and hire some back at a lower rate.

Whenever you hear the word transformation being thrown around, that's just corporate speak for impending layoffs. I take it as my cue to brush off the resume.

It's a wonderful example of the corporate word salad that so many of our "leaders" spout.

More like Tumultuous Growth.

They’re sick in the head. That’s why they used this terminology. This is just another cult mentality tactic to brainwash the average Joe employee. No one in their right mind would believe what they did has anything to do with transformative growth. More like transformative cash savings.
