Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

What is all this talk about Progressive?

Ugh oh God no! I wouldn’t watch to merge with Progressive. Insurance companies are all the same! Same cr-p just dressed up differently and personally the devil I know is better than the devil I don’t know. Besides between me and you there are a few coworkers who made me happy when they left to go there! Taking all their bad habits, lazy, low performance work ethics with them. No thank you Progressive.

The Wolf 🐺 checking in here. Sorry I have not been around in a while. I have been so busy! 1/3 of my new business comes from existing Allstate customers. No need for this cowboy to be spreading rumors and trolling Allstate rank and file. Tom and Glenn are doing a good job of trolling their own employees and agents with their preposterous business plan. Honestly, I need this Transformative Nonsense to keep going! 60 min hold times in claims, out of wack auto pricing, and a disenchanted sales force spells mayhem for the Allstate customer. I hear Allstate is poised to take rates again on home and auto and no one wants to pull the trigger on a new competitive auto product. No way do I want Progressive to take over Allstate. If a merger happens I will have to get a real job! Why would Progressive want to buy Allstate when they can just take Big Blue organically!

Not happening. Stop with the rumor mill. I used to work for Allstate and jumped that dumpster fire to make more at progressive.

@jgb+1drwnxfs apples and oranges... Sears had many issues that caused it's demise, namely vulture capitalists that didn't foresee or adapt to a fundamental shift of retail to online shopping

One thing we’ve all learned during these unprecedented times is anything is possible. Allstate is going the way of Sears and Kmart with the way they are running this shipwreck. They have relied too much too soon on tech and foreign nationals. Glenn the butcher thinks his speedy decisions will work out as everyone left will fix it. Now there’s now one left to fix it thanks to all the resignations and layoffs. Not smart. Those left are waiting and working for the next round of ridiculousness in process and decisions to tank this place even further. It would help if we were purchased by an ethical company but prog is not it.

It's just a bunch of rubbish that was started by some bitter old former Allstate agent that was terminated from Allstate for ethical practices (yep, we know who you are) that decided to stir up things around here. They go by "The Wolf". It is all nonsense and troll banter. Allstate is a big pile of doo doo but Progressive does not have enough to acquire Allstate and regulators would not allow a merger this big in this industry as the combined entities would then have over the allowed market share in one place. I am kind of surprised about how many simpletons bit on this trolling.
