good for INTC - do your own study of RISC-V ecosystem and SiFive. Other RISC-V companies, most in Asia, are less a ho-e for the $).
Yes, some RISC-V pioneers started SiFive.

This acquisition never made any sense.
Intel is the master of sh1ty capital allocation.

The fact that this isn’t going through is probably just d-mb luck that will save Intel a bunch of money.

It was Sunil Shenoy's idea to buy so he can benefit from his big stake in SiFive stock. Good intel getting out otherwise it would be another $1.5B wasted. It is open source architecture and how intel would benefit? There was no way intel make money buying SiFive.
