Why do some think that the restructure (as described in another thread below) will never work?

If the pilot stores like mine MCE008 never fought to fill it and run it properly. Then it’s never going to work. OVM’s dictate it all. Support colleagues want to work early and not on the floor “Great”. Selling sell and support supports. On line is the last priority before what goes on in the store. Fitting room comes before Omni , before new receipts. Not having any operating executive presence has been a disaster. OVM’s do know and don’t care , as long as they can work less than any hourly colleagues in the store.

If you’re unhappy leave nobody is holding you hostage here. Why put yourself through the torture for minimum wage?
Because it human nature to resist change, in addition Macys employees like to be negative. But it's not like Macys has made outstanding business decisions.
