I don’t think I’ve ever worked more than I have in the last year. However, they judged me to be underperforming. I worked more extra hours than ever. Of course, for nothing. If I gave 100 percent of myself in the past, during this year I gave 120 percent. And now they say that is not enough. That’s why I feel I was evaluated by someone who doesn’t understand my job nor how much work can be done in a given time frame. Does anyone else feel like the manager doesn't get what you do?

No. They don't understand the job at all. Nor they have any idea what they overpaid for.
compensated for overtime...salaried professionals are NOT paid overtime....that's what bonuses are for in the current market.
There are thousands of companies out there with a growing business, who understand their market and who have an industrial vision... and no toxic corporate culture... move on!
Our maybe it's you who don't understand the company
Cheer up and do your best not to take it personally - managers are required to mark 10% of their teams as underperformers even if nobody truly deserves it. Now they may also try to get certain people to leave before the next round of downsizing to save on severance. Check other threads, they should prove enlightening.
So don't feel bad for getting marked as underperforming - feel bad for not believing when people on this board tried to warn you that the company does not reward loyalty and hard work and told you to look for a better job. But maybe you've just never heard about some of the shady sh-t the company's pulled over the years (even before Blackstone) or didn't want to believe
PS When you say 'extra hours for nothing' I just hope you don't mean you weren't compensated for overtime...
