Thé best people to unionize are small tightly knit groups who are in high demand. For Anthem that would be the medical directors. Nurses, IT professionals and others are already outsourced overseas and would lose their jobs.

Too late. Anthem has diversified overseas, so any disruptions can be mitigated with offshore hiring. Time to do this was a few years ago.
That is probably the case, resignation would be better off considering most of us are at-will employees.
A strike at anthem should probably start at the call centers but they are the lowest paid people. I think mass Resignations are more effective.
