Having worked as toys r us and now belk, the business practices, management style, the vibe in the store, almost everything is identical to the way toys r us was running things weeks and months before they went out of business. I urge everyone at Belk to be on guard and expect any day some crazy announcements about layoffs, store closures, hours being cut, payroll being cut, something unexpected. Toys r US and Belk’s business style are mirror images of each other. be on guard everyone.
