1) Third Party Delivery: a disaster, 2) elimination of Hr: inept Managers can't even get a schedule rotation correct. Vacation days don't get approved in a timely basis. 3) Elimination of Plumbing Spec, results: nobody knows how to sell fixtures, vanities, toilets, water heaters etc etc, 4)Elimination of Installed Sales Office: left a huge void with inept, clueless IST (Install Support Team) ,and Installers just running around way behind in scheduling and getting away with unprofessionalism. 5) Elimination of Home decor spec., OPE spec., Outside L&G Specialist: Nobody has a clue how to sell any of those categories, with high turnover of CSA's. 6) Elimination of Sterling Co-Ordinator: dumped it on inexperienced Customer. Service Assoc. 7) Eliminate Cabinet Specialists in low volume stores and try to dump some of it on Appliances 8) Eliminate RTM and dump it on Receiving Clerk, back end is a garbage dump 9) Eliminate Facilities Mgr,: bathrooms and break rooms are filthy sh-t holes. 10) Force Pro Specialists into a ridiculous weekly quota, or forced them out. 11) Eliminate PSE's in low performing stores 12) What's Next??

Turtle doesn't care. He's got his lot rent covered for at least 3 months.
It was all Home Depots plan from the start, when they shipped Marv to Penny's. Know they can destroy Lowes from within. Sinister LOL
Maybe Amazon will buy Lowe's. Have read they are looking to increase physical store footprint.
Covid saved Marvin and his band of Sears id--ts from implosion. Ironic how going up against the Covid numbers will now seal their doom. The shame is that this bucket of sc-m in Mooresville maxed out their massive bonus's on the backs of us front line employees. Now they're trying to hold on for another year or so by cutting costs everywhere and, once again, earning their multi-million bonus's on the backs of those of us left to handle all the work. We need to be bought out by somebody - ANYBODY. He-l, if Dairy Queen bought us we'd be better run.
Don't joke about HD buying Lowes. You'd be surprised.
Maybe all of these insane decisions will lead to Home Depot buying Lowe's out.
And I agree about the specialist - all of those positions are so vital and what Lowe's was known for - how to give great service and the knowledge of each area given to customers. Now...not so much
They'll see how their id--tic decisions backfire. Now that the unemployment bonuses, stimulus checks etc are gone, my store hadn't hit plan in 2 months.
