If you're vaxed you shouldn't fear the unvaxed. That's total nonsense that the "hur dur muh Vax mandate" crowd is pushing.
If the vaccine works like all the other vaccines, you can stop worrying about unvaccinated people. If it's not like other vaccines, you can start to understand why we don't support the mandate.
That's odd. Unpaid leave seems like a reasonable accommodation.
And there it is.
A federal judge in Texas issued a temporary restraining order against United Airlines, blocking them from imposing a vaccine mandate against any of its employees in a nationwide class-action lawsuit.
United is prohibited from placing employees with religious and medical exemptions on unpaid leave until October 26 while litigation continues. The judge also prohibited the airline from denying any employee requests for religious or medical exemptions.
BO-M!

I got the jab due to pressure from multiple fronts
I can assure AT&T I wont be taking a booster no matter how much you pressure me
After looking at my high blood pressure caused by moderna vax
No wonder given the contents of this thing
Cholesterol
Salts
Sucrose
Special moderna blend!!!
It was suppose to be a fight against the pandemic to save the people. It has turned into a fight against the people to protect the pandemic?
Oh wait.. now that the vax mandate includes union.. its now wTf.. when it was just management it was "wah, stop crying "..
@1oqu+1dfnKkMS
Retail is one thing but they aren’t in a job industry to fully effect the ecosystem like we are … a shortage of flights and limited network infrastructure support is DEFINITELY more vital that a shortage at the grocery store or the mall !
quit feeding the trolls
"There's more death this year with the vax than last year without"
And of the dying...who is by far the majority of that population? Vaccinated or unvaccinated? Who is 11 times more likely to die once infected?
There is only one correct answer.
Im vax and i agree with the strike people should choose what they want. Att shouldn't force mandate for something that doesn't even work. There's more death this year with the vax than last year without
This is a Biden Mandate not AT&T.
@1cwu+1dfnKkMS go look at some of the boards of other companies, particularly in retail. Shortages everywhere. What you are proposing is already happening right now, without any coordination.
AT&T has been laying off actual workers, cutting pay and bennies, and destroying quality of worklife for remaining employees since divestiture in 1984. Whether those against mandatory vax are right or not, if it finally gets some people off their a-s and standing up for themselves against the greed monkeys running this place, that's a good thing, and they should be supported for finally taking a stand on something, not heckled and insulted. If you had your vax and you're protected (and it really does work), then you have nothing to be afraid of, regardless of what anyone else does. All you're doing by hassling the anti-vaxxers is encouraging the sc-m running this place to further reduce the workforce and/or weed out people who might be inclined to take a stand on something else in the future. That puts you on the side of Stankey and his gang. Unless you're completely clueless, it should be abundantly clear by now that it truly is us against them. They are not our friends.
"That's some good kool-aid they got you drinking...right? Mr. or Mrs. echo chamber, grow up get a mind of your own!"
You mean the kind that gets their news from mindless robots on fakebook?
Grow up, and get an education.
The union should have at least asked for buyouts for those who didn’t want the jab, because yes, there is a contract. That would have been too smart though. The union is useless.
The reality is- no matter your stance on the vaccine, CWA was wrong to cave on the mandate. Why? We’re in the middle of a contract. It doesn’t matter what the company asks for, the answer should be no. Why? Because now they can ask for absolutely anything and CWA has shown they’ll cave. There’s no chance of another decent contract, but contract schmontract, the company can declare you have to do anything (so long as it’s on the Democrat bootlicker’s wishlist) at any point, and the CWA will green-light it. Why pay dues?
If the vaccine truly worked why do people who have the vaccine say people who don’t have it don’t care about others?
What a waste of 1 million dollars use it to hire some real employees instead of these anti's
I wonder if we could reach out to other industries too that are in protest and band together and do a MAJOR shut down! We have nothing to lose and everything to gain !
I think it is time to join them. When is our sick out day?
"Good to rid the company of those malcontents. Better without them."
That's some good kool-aid they got you drinking...right? Mr. or Mrs. echo chamber, grow up get a mind of your own!
Its up to the workers now to rise up. The union has no interest in standing up for workers.
Good to rid the company of those malcontents. Better without them.
goodbye anti-vaxers. I'll feel safer coming into the building with you gone especially since you don't care about anyone else.
Southwest probably does not want to Eiffel die on its work force. Unlike AT&T which would love to see people leave on their own. T is going to use this to jettison workers.
Let's face facts people. The CWA and IBEW are nothing more than a smoke screen for the communist regime. Look at the IBEW in Illinois. These clowns let the company have whatever they wanted at the bargaining table, and now that it's caught up to them, they all retire with a fat company and union pension. They're so woke, they retired themselves!
“The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association (SWAPA), a union, has filed a lawsuit against SWA over its vaccine mandate, The Dallas Morning News reported. SWAPA has authorized its members to demonstrate against the mandate and strenuous working conditions during the pandemic. The union has also authorized $1 million in support of those protests, which could begin this fall, SWAPA president Casey Murray said.“
