OP is spot on. We’re here to learn and share legit information, not see a bunch of useless trolling, which is easy to filter out. No link, no credibility.
We Know the stores will close soon. That doesn't change the fact that some of them HAVE NOT closed yet. Even if it's 15 or whatever stores, THEY ARE STILL THERE. And it will not be considered closing, or removed from the list or map, until there is A LINK for evidence.
There are an endless array of threads in this page, some from Months/Years ago, regarding claimed closures, that never came to fruition. That's why I never count my chickens until they hatch.
Put differently, a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. I never jump to conclusions. When a closing is linked (and not a MILLISECOND before), THEN (and only then) it's official and I remove it from the master command map.
Fact: 99.1% of Sears and Kmarts have closed.
Fact: 0.9% of Sears and Kmarts will close soon.
Fact: 100.0% of Sears and Kmarts will soon be closed..
Fact a person with brain damage/disorder/disability demands proof (a link) to verify the inevitable.

I'm going to tell the authorities! I'm going to tell the authorities!
I Know! It's beyond irritating and this cr@p has been going on for Years. People will just casually claim XYZ location is closing, without a shred of evidence or links. Then invariably, it does not close. What does that accomplish? Find something better to do with your Time. I never report closings until and unless I have a link to them. How many countless posts have we read that Avenel is closing, Tukwila is closing, etc., etc.? Then you have egg on your faces when it doesn't happen. Yawn.
