What's up with Kinard? Never hear anything regarding the guy. It was a pretty big deal when the BOD were forced to appoint an outside Chairman. Anybody know his relationship with the rest of the BOD? With JS? Is he impactful or just collecting a paycheck?
Does anybody know if he is responsible for and behind the new Wokeness or is that all JS? I'm not saying the guy is not smart because he is but so far he seems like a figurehead.

Kennard was the head of the fcc under Clinton and EU Ambassador under Obama. He was also involved in the Carlyle Group which donates money to Democrats. My thought is this guy is there for govt connections and to show AT&T is diverse, even on their board.
The COB and directors are to lead the company's business decisions. So if shareholders don't agree, they can vote them out. The last vote favored retaining ALL of them and ranged from a minimum of around 75% for each to around 98%. And 40 billion shares were cast for them with 4 billion against according to the annual meeting stats. The shareholders have spoken. Now they have to live by their decision. And so do the employees.
