@ @1wni+1dad3Ivh My manager has some screws loose and has been behaving erratic and emotional for months. People aren’t going to talk to a manager that is 5 seconds from being terminated or put on admin leave themselves. I am vaccinated with great performance and do not feel safe in this job still. They are mandating right at the time they want to clean house and more than unvaccinated will go. Optum I feel has cost them heavily in poor development on areas they thought would gross big money by now. Unvaccinated status is now an issue right at 11/30? Whatever. And tossed right before Q1 2022. It is a strategy to come out looking good 1/1 with all their new programs their tech can’t support.
I was told rules apply for current employees and new hires are required to be vaccinated. Not sure what rules apply and don’t. The policy also stated some jobs require it and others don’t. I don’t think HR and managers are in sync as we had managers making up their own rules too.
They lie!! I am a full time telecommuter have been for 5 years. I received the first email stating telecommuters were not required to vaccinate. A few hours later I got the you are not in compliance you will be put on administrative leave on 11/30. For one month than terminated. If you have questions discuss this with your manager!!! But only the health and safety people know your status, but discuss it with your manager. Id--ts!!
i read today they are giving exceptions to WAH people though. Wouldnt that apply if you are an internal transfer?
Yes, only current telecommute are exempt. I would look outside uhg.
All new hires and internal transfers must be vaccinated. Even remote.
