I don't believe it will ever be as good as it used to be when I first started working here. Back then, one could still feel dignified working here. Now this is a completely different company.
I'm counting the days until retirement, but for the sake of new employees, I hope that one day it will be better here, although unfortunately I feel that it will become worse and worse.

Life is not all unicorns fa----g rainbows snowflake.
It won't get better. Our competitors are operating in the same sweat shop manner where departments are understaffed and overworked. Mandatory overtime and 600 calls in queue but you better meet all the metrics. And no SF doesn't care that you are burned out and have no work life balance with the mandatory OT. They don't care because the metrics are the "expectation" with no exceptions for the current work volume.
No it won't get better, this is the new normal for the insurance industry. I remembered Geico was already operating in a sweatshop manner since 2003, SF finally decided to join the race to the bottom. It 5ucks that many are caught in the middle of their career with these drastic changes. Either ride it out for as long as you can, or switch career. The likelyhood of finding the old SF at another insurance company is slim to none. I left SF for another career and found work life balance.
Dear disgruntled lazy useless employee, I do not know what you are talking about. This is the best year ever at State Farm. It will be the highest growth year in the history of the company and my bonus will be even bigger this year! I've not had to hire anyone, working everyone to death, and running off all the week feeble minded overpaid tenured employees. 68% of the new hire are minorities and shows I'm part of the woke corporate culture to hide what we are really doing. I have even bigger plans for you and love all this mandatory overtime because it gives me total control over every aspect of your life...where you leave, when you can have time off, come into the office, or if you get to have a life outside of SF. It is a dream come true and my prayers have been answered! Ohhh what a Wonderfull time to be at SF. Signed.... Michael T. !!!!!!
