Do any of you remember signing a non disclosure or non compete paper when hired? Been here 8 years and now thinking about switching to a different carrier.

Allstate does not want you sharing their trade secrets. These secrets include:
- Do not return clients inquiries in timely fashion
• Offer the clients 30% less than what the claim was written for
*. Transfer customer inquiries to Pune
*. Attempt to weasel out on rental reimbursement charges
Allstate is not at an 86% retention ratio for nothing. They have to protect those trade secrets at all costs.
If they fire you go on unemployment for 2 weeks. Get some rest and rededicate your self to putting the customer first again. Make a difference at your new carrier!
Nope, no non compete clause, I went to progressive.. but didn’t tell anyone because they WILL let you go immediately.
I needed the two weeks income lol
Do not say a word. None of their business and I've seen people get fired instantly and walked out because they said they were going to a competitor.
I recently put in notice to work in a different industry and was told that if I was leaving for a competitor I would be fired immediately. Just don’t tell them where you’re going.
Don’t tell them where you’re going. We don’t owe this company any loyalty after they fired and laid off our fellow coworkers last holiday season . They’re cold and ruthless and will fire more of us if they could save a penny more !
Likely nothing like that during the welcome aboard.
That would be illegal restriction of your professional knowledge and to make a living.
Not like you are going the steal 'clients' or carry off patent/copywrite info.
Go ahead on! Good luck.
