Whoever tries to convince you you're safe here, call them a liar in their face! I was an id--t who believed them and now I'm out on my a-s. I trusted my manager who swore several times I had nothing to worry about!!! This place is filled with liars and everybody needs to know that!

There are actually good managers that aren’t all about themself.

Our last layoff was a surprise to our whole team from our VP down to the staff. Group call from HR about 10AM that most of the people would be around for 4-6 weeks then they would get a package. No one knew until day of, after that everyone was lazy and could care less. They should have just paid out the 6 weeks on top of the package.
Don't believe management !!!!!. I've been in management positions. They often know when layoffs are about to happen and who is being let go. They are often told that if they say anything in advance they will loose their jobs.
I've been in that situation with another company . They were letting many employees go. I knew who and when but if I said anything I would be fired without a package. Had to sign a document.
DON'T believe what management says.

Never trust your manager, no matter how much you may like them. They are only there to keep their own position safe. You are cannon fodder.
