Sometimes a young person who really has talent and a lot of energy and will to work, comes wondering in here. However, the first impression they get when they come to DXC is a disaster. It's a sink or swim situation here. I see new hires totally lost, unable to cope, and all they lack is a little training. Doesn’t management really see a lack of training as a big problem here?

For me there are two kinds of training:
1 - Internal training regarding our tools, processes etc.
2 - Technical training for your profession.
I think DXC does an OK job (but could be a lot better) for 1, though I think it does depend on having an engage manager or team to assist.
2 though, is woeful, there is virtually no leadership here it seems to be down to the individual to use systems like DXC University. Why isn't there a drive to say, right we need to get our technical staff, say, AWS qualified?
I think the tools for training are there, it's just the structure/process/engagement.....
