If you know your workplace flexibility status by now, who decided? My team is still waiting to receive a clear cut answer. My supervisor states it’s not her decision and she’s still waiting. However, every announcement that comes to my email, states discuss with your people leaders. As, if WE have the choice of choosing the option that works best for us and the department. How did the conversation go for you?

Thanks @jqyn+1dTeUeZn this makes sense.
I have a feeling the "they" is different for different departments. It wouldn't surprise me if some VPs or Directors have told the senior managers and/or managers I will leave the decision up to you, You know your team's processes and abilities best. And on the flipside I bet some VPs and Directors have said I prefer to have the teams in office.
I think it's a trickle down decision and there a few different areas that could clog the pipeline.
We are in the middle of a bunch of reorganizing in my department and wellcare and centene integration is really coming into full effect so I don't even know the full chain of order currently, but in the past working backwards we had employee - supervisor - manager - senior manager - director - then either senior director or VP (I don't remember that person's title) then that person had bosses they answered to and frankly I didn't pay attention to who they were because they rarely if ever walked the halls of our cubes when we were in the office.
I can’t believe they even thought that would make any sense. @jzws+1dTeUeZn. When you say ”They”.. Who is deciding? Also, did “They” let you all vote on your choices? I think it’s just crazy that we still haven’t heard anything and it’s December.
They're supposed to let us know by February if they force us back. Iam not going back bc there's no reason. Be stuck at a desk where iam the only person on my team that's in the office so I can sign onto Zoom so I can attend a meeting bc everyone else is at a different location 🙃 makes perfect sense
I told my team it was their choice no matter what. They all decided to stay wfh.
I agree!
I told my manager I will not go back. They need me more than I need them. Plenty of WFH jobs in the industry.
