Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Are you really ok with losing your Ford job over the vaccine?

If you do not get vaxed or get approved for an exemption, you will be out of a job. What are your plans for life after Ford?

I’d say Henry himself was rebellious and defiant, as were most of the industrialists then , and entrepreneurs now.

Don’t be resentful or jealous of others if you’re too afraid to take chances in life.

Let me answer your question about why we aren’t just quitting:

I’m waiting to be fired for a number of reasons:

  1. I’m holding out hope that common sense prevails. Granted, that’s a slim hope given the company’s recent history of supporting partisan causes.
  1. The last thing I’m going to do is make it easy on the people violating my human rights. Ford can EASILY accommodate us.
  1. My lawyer advised me on how to proceed.

Do you trust the government? Do you trust big pharma? How about the media? Statistics? If so, I suggest you go and do some research about who these people are and what lies they’ve told in the past. And then ask yourself this question: are these people worthy of me not only placing my life in their hands, but of also using threats of financial and professional ruin to force others to do the same?

Unless you live in a nursing home or were on a quarantined cruise ship, nobody in the US was on lockdown, EVER. Nobody was prohibited from leaving their homes. Working from home, remote schooling, temporarily closed businesses are not lockdowns. China and Italy had actualn lockdowns. We did not.

The lockdown info being referred to was 2020, try to keep up.

Two weeks to flatten the curve...
Two months to wear a mask....
Two years to wear a mask and shoot up with shot one and two...

On to booster one, soon to be booster two, etc, etc. Get your booster else risk losing your livelihood. Because that just makes sense. We'll save you medically, but toss out your livelihoods and ruin your finances. For your safety of course.

Two weeks to flatten the curve, because science.

Eff off people.

I have family that work in the hospitals. Medical billers. From day one, they were instructed by higher ups, to code EVERYTHING covid. Car crashes, alcohol poisoning, cardiac arrests, etc, EVERYTHING covid. Illegal and unethical as eff.

These are the stats used to keep you locked down. These are the stats, used to make you shoot up. These are the stats used to make you believe, the unvaxxed are dangerous. Ironic as f**k.

Maybe I should pull the engine from my car, in case it fu--s up. Can't trust ford, but lets trust the science. Maybe we replace the PROVEN oil over the years, with an experimental oil - to save the engine.

Absolute lunacy. We don't play that game, and no f**ks given. There is nothing that can be said, not dollar amount enough short of 50 trillion dollars, or any influencer alive, to convince. EVER.

Michigan is also 10th in the country for total cases.

If you’re going to lie about numbers pick something that’s not so easy to verify. And don’t downvote a post calling out your BS.

If you’re cherry picking a certain number , like number of new cases in Michigan , say so.

Maybe Ford gets a share of vaccine profits. Just think - if you got the Moderna vaccine, you needed 2 shots - now a third. But Moderna execs decided people took the J & J shot because it was simpler and needed only one shot. So they decided that J&J people would only need one Moderna booster . Forget that consolidate the vaccine with 2 doses in a couple weeks stuff. LOL. Yeah, there is a bunch of research backing this up - but keep your mask on, just in case.

Mandatory vax deadline is January 4, @3umm+1dTZVzSO.

That’s three checks. Easy number for you to remember, same as how many booster shots you will have taken by then.

I’ll wait until Bill tells me I’m fired , thanks anyway for the advice.

If you are not getting vaxed, why are you still working Ford? Why not quit now? You are getting canned anyway so why stick around? Other than one more paycheck, you have nothing to gain.

I cannot believe that Ford employs this many rebellious, definant people. Glad I'm retired. You should not have to be told to get vaccinated--the US is number one in the world per capita for covid deaths and MI is number one in the country for cases. Thanks for being part of the problem, you fools.

Can’t happen when unreasonable people are defining what reasonable is

The ones talking about a vaccination ruling 116 years old are the same ones who say the Constitution is outdated because times have changed since it was written and it’s 2021 after all.

Yes, I don't care if they fire me.

My 401k lets me sit out for at least five to seven years if I cut back.

This bullsh*t will be either finished or finalized by then. These company threats don't effect me.

At the end of the day, wh--e corporations that have bills to pay, have to keep their doors open. They know, if they close the doors to those that won't participate in this nonsense, they're going bankrupt. You "may" trick the people, but you will NEVER trick your financials.

When they tell you in the media that 90% are vaxxed, it's more like 30%. It's significantly less. Gates stated they only need 10-15%. They got those numbers and much more.

Thank you to all the volunteers, willing to give up their lives for the greater good of their country. While they thought they were protecting themselves, they were simply volunteering to remove themselves from the equation.

Is it not beautiful? This was, simply an IQ test. If you shot up, you failed. Death by injection, or eventual autoimmune disease, it matters not. The end result is always the same.

The sports venues show how much this is about money. One source put the vaccination rate at the college games at 80%. Ford said their rate was 84% ( before they changed it to “ vast majority “ )

Yet 109,000 people screaming and spitting all over each other , exchanging money hand over fist , high giving each other, rubbing all over each other on their way to the concession stands, and grabbing the stall doors in the bathrooms has less chance of spreading disease than people wearing masks , keeping 6 feet apart , and spraying everything with disinfectant that they touch.

Same with U of M and MSU. Got to keep unvaccinated kids off campus even though they have paid tuition and housing , but it’s fine to cram 109,000 people into a stadium and not require anything.

Evidently having a few hundred bucks in your wallet is all the protection you need.

Nothing hanging over my head. I have more than a decade of reserves if I earned nothing more than what I have in assets, or the bank. I don't care what threats they offer.

Ten plus years is enough to start a business or five. Or, go work minimum wage somewhere to cover my bills and put food on the table. Minimal wage is what, $17-$20 now, soon to be $25-$30. Sucks to be my debtors locked into a VERY low rate.

They going to lose their a**es. I might take a year or two off, and watch the world burn. Eventually the pendulum swings the other way.

And yet no capacity limits at Ford Field and no proof of vaccination required at Lions home games

Of course , that’s money coming in , not going out. Granted it only affects a few hundred people, but still. I wonder if the popcorn is grown on federal land.

@2wvn+1dTZVzS0 "Please tell me, is your name on the building?"

The question should be "Are you a human being?". Since when we have laws allowing the rights of someone extends above the rights of others just because of position or money? Since when we became slaves again?

You could have your name in the building, but doesn't give you any right over my body or my person. BTW, the vax mandate in companies with 100 or more employees is suspended... didn't you hear?

"Ford is complying with federal law. You don't like it get the laws changed."

Well, first of all, Ford is not complying with federal law, because as far as I know, union employees have not been forced to vaccinated. Furthermore, not all Ford employees are working under a federal contract.

I'd love to have the laws changed, but the Trump haters, the sheeple like you and the opportunists, have voted for a government that promised no vax mandate would be implemented and then did it to hide the Afghanistan disaster and to justify the screwed up economy. I'll have to wait until November of 2022 to see some reigns in this administration, but then will be too late for me to keep this job.

"if you are a salaried Ford employee and you don't like the policy you are free to quit"

Yes, we'll get there. I am ready. Be careful what you wish for. We'll see how you can handle the whole company by yourself.

One more thing, you can see how backstabbing this company have became. Today is me, tomorrow it will be you. Good luck! You are going to need it.

Still no f**ks given. They give you a 30 day vacation, you claim underemployment, because they haven’t severed employment, and they aren’t allowing you to work.

These corporations forget, 401ks have made everyone VERY wealthy. They no longer have anything hanging over the heads of the public.

People underestimate the sheer number of people that won’t put up with this. It’s MUCH larger than the numbers they tell the public. When, not if, but when 40-50% of those with 401ks get removed from the system, as then they instantly deploy, expect your economic collapse - and these corporations with it.

It’s going to be both biblical, and beautiful. The greatest depression the world has ever known. There are ways to profit on this.
