Funny story. Intel recently cut a small group that it screwed up trying to sell. Intel hr stated 80% of affected employees usually find jobs within Intel. Almost all engineers were offered jobs within Intel. Guess what happened? Most left!!! They were snatched up immediately by other companies. It turns out only about 20% stayed. Almost exactly opposite of what hr said.
The best part was hr was actually contacting managers asking why people were leaving. This was after Intel cut the group!!! Wtf are these people smoking? The HR team in psg is absolutely useless and clueless.
This is why Intel is in trouble. No clue of what the reality actually is within the company.
