Thread regarding IBM layoffs

OSHA stops Vaxx Mandate as 5th Circuit court stays the Mandate. Will IBM stop demanding the Vaxx?

The mandate will likely be declared unconstitutional because it is but will IBM ignore and keep demand endless vaxxing.

On November 12, 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted a motion to stay OSHA's CV-19 Vaxxination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard, published on November 5, 2021 (86 Fed. Reg. 61402) ("ETS"). The court ordered that OSHA "take no steps to implement or enforce" the ETS "until further court order."

In a November 12 podcast session with the New York Times, Fauci was forced to admit the fact that the vaccines do not reliably protect their recipients from serious Covid or death.

Called upon to explain the data coming from Israel – a country with one of the highest vaccination rates in the world – Fauci said the following:

“They are seeing a waning of immunity not only against infection but against hospitalization and to some extent death, which is starting to now involve all age groups. It isn’t just the elderly” [emphasis added].

Hoping IBM (and other companies) fire those who won't get vaccinated because of religious reasons. Who would want to work with such fools?

@2kuf+1dRm6qc8: it’s not anti-science to consider the side effects of a vaccine which raw data is showing to be useless before putting it into your body. Anti-science would be more along the lines of calling a man a “woman” simply because he feels like a woman. You probably also believe that Biden is doing a great job despite evidence to the contrary.

Imagine a vaccine so effective that those who've received it fear those who haven't, for a disease so deadly that one must be tested to discover that one has it.

Why do you anti-science, vaccine hating maggots keep lurking here? You people are losers. Can't you find a MAGA meeting to go to and cough all over each other. It's like the new "Water Sports." The "tops" amongst you can cough, or something else, upon the "bottoms." It's none of my business how y'all get your kicks. And, also, wow -- which amongst you is a "top" and which a "bottom" will curtail my sleeping tonight. I never want to see 400 lb combined top and bottom, ever. Again. Whatever your twisted proclivities are, are you sure you have to do it at IBM? Or even on this page? Go drink some bleach and de-worm your oh so wormy selves. But, then, exit this stage.

Great summary of the vaxx situation. Hopefully it wakes up a few people to stop taking the endless, useless, and dangerous initial vaxx shots and booster shots that they are forcing down our throats.

@1onk+1dRm6qc8:

I was trying to find where in history they pushed a mandatory vaccine out this quickly without the usual years of trial runs and testing, then DIDN'T pull it when it started to injure and ki-l more than just a few people.

So much for the "wrong side of history."

I've also noticed that US National news for the most part are ignoring numerous scientific studies showing various interesting points such as 1) the vaccine isn't doing its job and 2) It's injuring and ki----g people. These studies can be found linked to reputable websites in roughly 10 seconds. I've also noticed that natural immunity - which was a thing until January 20th, 2021 - is no longer a thing. I've also also noticed that masks - which were the savior of us all - have now been deemed about 10% effective. I've also also also noticed that the virus itself has a 99.5% or greater survival rate. I've also also also also noticed that countries which are at or near 100% vaccinated are still seeing surges in new cases.

So much for "the wrong side of science."

If you or anyone else can't believe your "lying eyes" over what the puppets in the White House and Armonk are being told to peddle to you, then there's probably no hope for you as far as critical thinking skills go. Now be a good little lemming, and run along.

You’re proving my point for me. I don’t watch Fox News. Your cult tells you that, so that is what you must regurgitate. You also lack the intelligence to debate the facts, so you target people instead. Bravo!

Wrong side of history and science? That’s ridiculous.
You’re in a cult and cult members aren’t capable of thinking for themselves. That’s why you won’t be convinced. You won’t be convinced when a Harvard study says Covid is more common in areas with higher shot rates, you won’t be convinced when more people died in the trials who got the shot vs the placebo, and you won’t be convinced when a country of 99% shot rate (Gibraltar) has soaring cases.

You’re a lost cause just like every other Blueanon freak.

Get the shot or hit the road..... You're on the wrong side of history....And science.... and every other middle school subject. Mandate or no, the only sensible thing to do is to be vaccinated. Stay at IBM...or try to find gainful employment somewhere else... you're not going to have a lot of friends. No one really wants to hire you or be around you. Down vote all you want but you it's true. You "argue" in your little echo chambers but everyone not in that chamber thinks you have a sc--w loose. Because you DO have a sc--w loose. Have you ever convinced anyone (other than your echo chamber) that your righteous fight against the indignity of a jab makes any sense. No... you haven't. But you keep trying because hope springs eternal.
I hope you don't get sick. But, if you do, I hope it's not serious. But, if it is serious, stay the heck away from my local hospital. Go find solace in your little echo chamber. Your last post there can be "well, turn's out I am dying. but I was still right all along."

Certainly alot of opinions out there - including the Fifty Circuit down alamo way.
Some wordy entries on this thread alone - so hoity-toity.

Whatever IBM decides, that is what you will do.
Simple. Not even a layoff.

5th Circuit writeup:
On the dubious assumption that the Mandate does pass constitutional muster—which we need not decide today—it is nonetheless fatally flawed on its own terms. Indeed, the Mandate’s strained prescriptions combine to make it the rare government pronouncement that is both overinclusive (applying to employers and employees in virtually all industries and workplaces in America, with little attempt to account for the obvious
differences between the risks facing, say, a security guard on a lonely night
shift, and a meatpacker working shoulder to shoulder in a cramped
warehouse) and underinclusive (purporting to save employees with 99 or more coworkers from a “grave danger” in the workplace, while making no attempt to shield employees with 98 or fewer coworkers from the very samethreat). The Mandate’s stated impetus—a purported “emergency” that the entire globe has now endured for nearly two years, and which OSHA itself spent nearly two months responding to—is unavailing as well. And its promulgation grossly exceeds OSHA’s statutory authority.

The mandate for federal contractors is still in place and is not tied to OSHA.

IBM demanded it before Biden. This could result in millions in vaccine passports sales and service. It’s all about your health.
