It’s very simple. Most of you have worked in an office most of your lives and now you don’t want to. Sure, working from home worked for almost 2 years. Sure, it could continue to work. But if your employer wants you to go in then GO IN. You don’t want to? QUIT. All you Karens whining like you don’t have choices. But you want to have your cake, ice cream, and a party - keep your job and stay at home. Ridiculous!

How so? The sentiment still applies. 😂😂😂
Well! This post didn't age well did it ?! Lmfao!!
And I expressed mine. Y'all are whiners!
Only whining I am reading is yours, this site is for those who wish to express their views, opinions and provide information. If you don’t like it, leave it.
Your long a-s dissertation is cute. The original author of this thread, me, is not upper management. But continue to think that. Who cares. I was an employee, just like you. Hard to believe no one wants to fall in line with your nonsense. If I still worked there I'd be skeptical about going in cuz I haven't taken the vaccine...yet. But I also wouldn't be whining on this board!
Thank you for the reminder to those who forget or don't know. HR and management/leadership lurk and comment on this site. The come to get the scope of what rumors have leaked and to get ahead of you! They try to create discord and division between the people! Of course they want you to go into the office because THE ONLY benefit is to their huge EGOS - they constantly stroke each other by telling each other what amazing leaders they are. Rest assured, that whatever plans they have, they have been in the works for well over a year. The OP sounds like a middle management puppet, who has been brainwashed to serve their masters. I bet they don't even know what the master plan is, yet they serve religiously - blindly. How embarrassing for you. Don't let it happen to you! Are you asking yourself how I know this and more? Think about it... some of us have been playing this game for long time - well before COVID, and we quietly fight from the inside. There are some good people in leadership, but few. You might know some. We are sincere, have years of experience, we treat team members fairly, respectfully, and with common sense humanity. We know how to do our jobs, yet we are still the "outsiders" when it come to the leadership clicks. You can see it. We are also the ones that stand up for your against them without you knowing. I know we won't change the system or their overall plan. It is inevitable, but we buy you time. Leadership knows who we are. Did you notice how many of use have been laid off in the last 2 years or so? They sacrificed some of us to save their own jobs. Then cry, console each other, and get each other gifts "because it's such a hard thing to do". Really? It's hard to save your own job, so you can continue to take your 4 vacations a year and supporting your grown children? If it was that hard, you wouldn't destroy hundreds of peoples livelihood. They take care of each other only. So what am I saying? Do what you need to do. If you can, don't let it stress you out. Use your benefits ALL OF THEM - go on FMLA, ADA, etc. ride it out until it doesn't serve you... just like they are riding you to the ground until you no longer serve their plan.
You can have your cake, ice cream, and cookies...when you own your company or are the boss. Otherwisw, stop whining. Especially when working in an office was fine pre-pandemic. These are entitled wh-t...Karens who don't want to take the vaccine and don't want to mask up. Privileged babies!
If you want to work from home, kiss a-s, etc etc, then go right ahead that’s your life but don’t come on here blasting others for what they choose to fight for and not deal with from a company who doesn’t give a sh** about it’s employees. Everyone’s circumstances are different some maybe able to just quit but many simply cannot afford to just quit but does that mean we should not have a voice? If the CEO can have his cake, cookies and ice cream, then what’s wrong with wanting the same
Sc--w all of you - I've been a remote work from home employee for almost 10 years. This has nothing to do with 'not going into the office' -- it's refusing to work alongside those who need babysitters all day to get their jobs done. The rest of us have been working productively at home for years. It's obvious Centene doesn't trust their employees. That's the answer! They don't trust you to work at home because you have no experience doing it but a couple years. Get it! The rest of us are insulted!
I don't recall you including your desperate response to posts complaining about going back to work in an office. So, there's that. And since you fail basic reading comprehension, the post was about people complaining like they lack options. As a person who was actually LAID OFF, it is actually very fitting that I post about whiney a-s people who 1) haven't been laid off 2) are whining about returning to a location they PREVIOUSLY worked at 3) want to still get unemployment benefits when they get fired. They seem as desperate as your name.
I’m quitting when they force us in.
Funny you come to a site literally named “the layoff” to complain to people that they don’t have the right to be unhappy with their current job positions. I’m not sure you fully understand what this website is for. Save it for your Facebook page buddy.
Yo Mikey - we all know you are already planning on shutting down some of the offices. So are you proposing that people should stop whining and now add 2+ hours ONE WAY to the next closest office, even though everyone on their team works in different locations/states? What's the point? You are still "collaborating" with your team through Zoom. Maybe you should stop buying up companies who offered their employees the remote option prior to your takeover. Greedy ba----d!
Actually they will have cake and ice cream socials according to CNET to welcome people back. What a waste. Don't need bribery to make it seem awesome which its not Either just tell us to come in and work or not, don't have BS like that. It's insulting. BTW same production happens either way. Not like you get more at one place or the other
Having to take a dr-g that many don’t need, that’s been out for a year, that is showing MANY, not rare, heart issues in those that get it is a little different than writing down your drivers license number ya mo--n. Seems like the only “echo chamber” that’s the problem is the media who is constantly lying to us.
Nice try, Upper Management.
Here here! You are NOT victims. You don’t like the work from office policy or can’t abide by the masks or vaccines, then quit! Why aren’t you complaining about having to provide proof of citizenship; drivers license or SSN; or education or you’ll agree to background checks and dr-g screens (pretty sure you agreed to it but maybe it wasn’t necessary at the time; or the dress code or working a set schedule or providing proof of marriage/ partnership/ parent relationship for insurance coverage; wearing/swiping a badge so they know where you are every minute of the day; no smoking at your desk or … anywhere on campus. You haven’t been protecting my freedom before this so don’t do me any favors when you’ve probably cheered for showing proof of citizenship! Probably love non smoking campuses because it means you … wait a minute … can’t get sick from second hand smoke. You are NOT a victim. Stop acting like it and get out of your echo chamber.
