Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

No amount of propaganda.........

Hold all the calls you want, with a bunch of "experts" rambling on.

And in true cowardice fashion, I heard they disabled the ability to submit questions/comments Anonymously. That's why so many people stopped dialing in a long while ago. It's so clearly one-sided it's unreal. Before they would let people use that option, then once they realized that a large segment of the employee base's questions weren't going the way they thought it would they disabled it.

People could at least have an ounce of respect for them if they'd let us ask questions without having to worry about our names being displayed/disclosed and subsequently being stigmatized.

And oh yeah, gotta love the whole "Speak Up" dribble. Sure, yeah right.......so we can all end up like the whistle-blowers at Wells right??????????

TIAA wants to be 100% compliant so they say they are at 94% which I cannot believe. They are okay in firing the so called 5-10% of us who are people of honor and believe in individual rights and freedoms. I am sure they will replace us with woke snowflakes that are fully vaccinated and triple boosted who can still spread this variant. They want people to wear masks all day except at your desk and to test every time you are in the office. Meanwhile the border is wide open and the id--t in charge refuses to stop the wave of illegal migration. These people are coming in without being tested and do not have to show a vaccination card.

I agree 100%. So tired of the Speak Up initiative being thrown around - it’s nauseating especially when they do things like disable the anonymous questions during calls. They want you to speak up only when it’s in support of what they’re preaching that day. Was on a regional all hands call when the market leader shared that they disabled anonymity because they want employees to feel comfortable speaking out. Yeah, right. It’s a measure taken so they don’t have to answer the hard questions in front of a large audience. Can’t wait to see what they come up with for tomorrow’s call.

I wonder if this is happening with other large financial companies?
