Every day at Centene has become a real pain. What kind of company is it where most employees hope to get laid off?

this place is so awful! salaries, training, supervisors, rules, communication, services, a complete corporation abuse!
Departments that are wishing to be laid off-- shared services, credentialing, member service ,provider relations etc
I asked to be laid off after 7 years. They tell me I am too "important" to layoff so I just do less and less. In an 8 hour day I work about 4 hours, do not show up for meetings, and refuse to return to the office. I am OK with getting fired. Plenty of other jobs out there.
Best thing ever happened to me was to be lay-off. The company is a joke. I just now sit and laugh about how the incompetent leadership is coping!!! Hahahaha!!
I am curious what departments or job types the people who want to get laid off are working in? What about your jobs is unbearable? Pay? Workload? Management? I am in IT and the workload is a lot but the pay is good. Benefits for the new year are not great. I would not be totally on board with getting laid off unless it came with a huge severance package (like 6 months pay and health insurance) and I am not sure they do that.
Anyway, just curious about the reasons people wish to get laid off.
I left the company after 12years of service and very happy now. I keep getting emails withopen positions and lately seeing sign on bonus privileges...I am never going to come back to centene again
I hope and pray to get laid off. The toxic work environment is too much to handle. Every person on LinkedIn lies about how wonderful this place is and how they hope to get hired. Why do you think there are so many positions opened. Revolving door is an understatement.
