Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Exemptions

Hello, wondering what people are receiving back in response to their medical and religion exemption requests and what line of business you're in.
In in C&S on a clinical team and haven't received a response, but it was made clear to me that even if Human Capital approves the exemption, my director has no intention of providing accommodations even though I work from home 98% of the time and face volunteered to test before going to office, member, or community partner.

My religious exemption got approved literally just to give them time to replace me. So now I maybe have 2 weeks of work left while they hire this new person and out the door I go.

To answer your question, the class action lawsuit is being started by emailing uhgvaccinemandate@gnail.com.

I was denied religious exemption within 2 weeks. They are not approving many and now I’m on probation for 30 days. This company is serious deep state to be on-board with such an insane request. Coming soon…3 jabs to be fully vaccinated so good luck with that. If everyone stood up against it then it wouldn’t be a thing. Unfortunately, way too many sheep

You can read the CMS guidelines published in November. Apparently this mandate is protected under the constitution allowing dept. HHS to impliment. Federal mandate supersedes State laws. First vaccine is required by 12/5 complete series by 1/5.

Where do we go to join a class action lawsuit? C&S employees being denied exemptions and let go. Also being told 30 days unpaid leave even if exemption is filed because “it may take weeks to review” exemption requests. This company puts on a good show, but do not care about employees at all.

In a 22-page ruling last week, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals wrote that the administration's COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandate was "fatally flawed" and ordered that OSHA not enforce the requirement "pending adequate judicial review" of a motion for a permanent injunction. Next, let's see what happens with the CMS vaccine mandate lawsuits.

You would think that if you are working from home full time, then a vaccine mandate should not apply. I guess we can all thank the Biden administration for that federal mandate.

I have been informed it is a business decision and the departments leadership are making the approvals if there is a significant burden placed by the accommodation request. Sounds to me you have an unsupportive and unrealistic chain of command that doesn’t care it’s a illegal mandate. If you get dismissed, file a lawsuit immediately for discrimination and violation or constitutional rights.

There is an email box a user created on here that employees are using to join a class action lawsuit for denied exemptions and or being let go.
