And the accounting scandal wasn’t even a scandal. It was a timing difference.

Let me tell you one thing…I loved a lot of our onshore people. Had great relationships with most of them in fact. However, I’ll be one of the first to say a lot of them were just as lazy or even lazier than the HCL folks. At least the HCL robots don’t talk back or respond with a sour mood when you ask a simple question. Even before HCL it was like pulling teeth to get an answer about billing, contracts, inventory, etc. So in my head, not much has changed. To say that things were perfect with onshore people is a joke. The few we have left are amazing, but in my opinion they got rid of a lot of the fat. Just because you were onshore doesn’t automatically mean they were competent. Most of them when on to do some great things so happy for them.

There is a huge difference in them surviving before and now
Before had smart dedicated onshore people doing a great job because they loved their job
Now you have all work done offshore by people who see it as just a paycheck while they get their education, they don't get the industry or the work, the things being done wrong is beyond measure
So keep thinking you will survive!!!!

Correct. I read enough about the industry than i care to admit and Xerox is actually doing BETTER than its counterparts when all is said and done. Even with this most recent storm of BS supply chain issues. Shrinking industry or not, plenty of money to be made and Xerox WILL survive. Even if there is a merger, which our whole industry is due to several, Xerox's name and brand will be at the top of any merger since its US based. I don't care that this info pi---s off the Chicken Littles on this site. It's the truth.

Ever since the accounting scandal in my 2000 people have been saying the end is near.

It's not.

Xerox is not what it once was, probably never will be, but there is no imminent demise.

Yawnnn…come back at me with something with substance. People have been saying this industry is dead for the last 10 years. Regardless of what the doomsayers think or want , the name Xerox isn’t going anywhere. It will transform or get merged together with other companies most likely but it’s still going to survive when all is said and done. Those people that were hurt by Little Johnny in the past are not gonna get what they want. But at least you’ll still have your little whittle message board to cry and whine every day.

The real brain surgeons are now dictating what we think…opposed to what we know. Xerox and the copy industry or whatever you are calling it now is Toast. Done. Finito. Gone. 👋

You already died but you just don’t know it yet. And no I’m not a competitor. Xerox has screwed a lot of people. That could be the reasons for the posts. Your just mad because you think somehow this company will pull it out, and take you with it. Or, you are here to deny everything these people going threw this already know.
Nice Try. People are pi---d. Have Fun winning people over. You are gonna have your work cut out for you. ✂️

Not sure what part of the world you’re in or what department, but my guess is you’re not a business minded individual. There is ALWAYS going to be a need for stuff we sell. And the best salespeople will find a way to do it. Our teams are still doing considerably well and decisions are still being made daily. And that’s with all the supply chain challenges, HCL, etc. Don’t be fooled by the small bubble you probably stay in locally. And definitely don’t listen to the Eeyores on this site about everything.

@naw
What the he-l delusion are you in?
Nobody needs copiers and printers anymore, get real!!
A merger, omg...if a company did their due diligence they would run and never look back, who would want us, our databases are F'ing disasters from being worked in by clueless people

This http://www.TheLayoff.com/xerox thread has become a place of false news, whining and sniveling!! There is nothing about actual potential layoffs, such as inside information. Just conjecture and innuendo. There will always be upset ex-employees, failing competitors trying to create havoc and those who have a certain hate towards Xerox.

aww...did i hurt your feelings? No matter what anybody thinks on here, this company is NOT going down. Yes, things are far from perfect but EVERY company in this industry has major challenges right now. I know how much competitors really want to believe this will happen (or loser ex-employees for that matter), but it won't happen. The worst thing that will happen is a merger and the best employees who choose to stay on board will continue to do well. The little p*thetic Eeyores on here will probably get fired and quit and that will be fine. Life moves on.

What an id--t. Thinking we are competitive companies trying to make xerox loose employees. We are current and past workers trying to save people we know, and other people that don’t deserve this garbage working at xerox.
I will relax when people like you are completely out of this industry or any other for that matter. Love the fact you call people losers too. Nice touch.
