From what I have seen the people that were put on PIP mostly didn’t see it coming and it happened rather fast. Given that more or less all of us are in danger of being put on PIP,especially the long-timers, I was wondering If anyone saw any early signs which could indicate that this was going to happen? Maybe some changes in your managers behavior or something that was not usual before?

I didn't expect it either when it happened to me
There are no rules, it can always happen to you. I speak from my own experience.
I genuinely didn't see it coming. I was caught completely off-guard.
