@5tmo, I think the real message to see isn't that it'd take over fifty years to release all the documents (for a FOIA request) that they allegedly already reviewed in order to approve the shots. But rather that they want to trickle them out so that they can be redacted.

  • The government [FDA] told the court it has 329,000 pages of documents responsive to the FOIA request and proposed releasing 500 pages per month to allow for redactions of exempt material. At that rate, the FDA would fully release the records in question in just under 55 years.

It seems like a delaying tactic since gov't documents are considered by default to be the public domain, and these certainly shouldn't contain any PII data (as even collecting that during the studies would've been an invasion of privacy). I think it's a bogus move, but unlike what's implied by some news outlets it's not in the same ballpark as the JFK related docs still being sealed nearly 60 years later

The brain drain is going to be beautiful. AVs and EVs are the globalist wet dreams. It only makes sense to fire half of the staff due to a medical condition. Next thing you know, they'll be mandating gender reassignment surgery as a condition of employment.

In the end, the race to AVs and EVs won't be filled by fence hoppers or visas. We know how that works, we tried it since the 70's with no success. Every time our counterparts learned something useful, they jumped for a nickel.

If SCOTUS doesn't uphold these mandates as unconstitutational, as you know it's going to be elevated there, there will be so many John Galting this system. It's going to be beautiful, watching these corporations collapse under their own weight.

So, how's the market doing these days? We're hiring signs for $17-$20 per hour, soon to be $25-$30 per hour. I know in the automotive sector, they are SO desperate for talent, especially designers. Going to cost you.

The FDA has asked a federal judge to make the public wait until the year 2076 to disclose all of the data and information it relied upon to license Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Think of Michigan as a company. If you don’t like it here you can go live in another state.

Sound familiar ?

@4wxe+1dNpVPfp - Yeah, so what? Unless you've been hiding under a rock you should've already heard that the shots aren't all that effective in preventing the spread of covid.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(21)00648-4/fulltext#seccestitle160

*Background

  • The SARS-CoV-2 delta (B.1.617.2) variant is highly transmissible and spreading globally, including in populations with high vaccination rates. We aimed to investigate transmission and viral load kinetics in vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals with mild delta variant infection in the community.

...

  • SAR [Secondary Attack Rate] among household contacts exposed to fully vaccinated index cases was similar to household contacts exposed to unvaccinated index cases (25% [95% CI 15–35] for vaccinated vs 23% [15–31] for unvaccinated).

Perhaps this reading may help you understand those who are deciding differently than you.

Keep on refusing the vaccine. Keep Michigan #1! Read the article.

@4rem+1dNpVPfp - ha, I haven't even reported my status either way yet. Let them assume what it is rather than my declare status and request an exemption.

Been here long enough to know that even if I did every single thing asked of me and more (eg putting in 15-20% unpaid OT consistently) that soon as they think they could save any money by getting rid of I'll be shown the door. In an environment like that why bother playing their game?

A little interesting that today is the deadline for submitting an exemption request but they haven’t sent a reminder since the 10th of November

I understand the 1st amendment protection and used "supernatural being" to exaggerate my point, which is the mandate (that is being put in place to protect ourselves and others from infection) should be for everyone (except for medical reasons which make the vaccine more harmful than covid itself) or there should be no mandate.

@3xrj+1dNpVPfp - Although religions almost always involve a believe in one or more supernatural beings, it's not what makes something religious. Wikipedia says it better than I can quickly:

Religion is a social-cultural system of designated behaviors and practices, morals, beliefs, worldviews, texts, sanctified places, prophecies, ethics, or organizations, that relates humanity to supernatural, transcendental, and spiritual elements;[1] however, there is no scholarly consensus over what precisely constitutes a religion.[2][3]

......because there is no 1st amendment protection or ADA protection from getting fired for refusing vaccination for personal objections. If you don't want the vaccine and do not have a protected reason for not getting it, Ford can (and will) let you go.

I still don't understand the idea of religious exemptions. Why do I have to believe in a supernatural being to have my objection to the vaccine approved?

As the bible says:
I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.
Luke 18:12
Submit evidence that you give 10% to any church, then I can see granting a religious exemption.
If you don't give at least 10% to your religious cause, then you aren't religious, you are just righteous, self centered, entitled a- ho-e.

Who said they were from Ford? Pretty sure no one read that. You know this site has more than one specific company listed all across it right?

People are making this thing out to be more difficult than it is. My exemption was approved simply by stating the following.

"It is against my religious belief to be subjected to these vaccinations, as there is no entity alive that can verify. However, there are many laws on the books that have defended in a court of law, that religious objections are observed. Either approve and accept this document, or inform me of my termination date in defiance to this belief. All documents will be retained should legal council be required."

It's a put up, or shut up statement. There are many out there that can afford to sit out for years and decades, while all this nonsense sorts itself out. Go figure it was approved. I actually was looking forward to some time off.

The more "details" you provide to these corporations, the more wiggle room you give them to slither out of it. So, don't give them any details about your religious objection.
