I've been choosing my own next work challenges not to get bored to death, zero signs of any kind of leadership from anywhere...

Of course you expect it, especially if not having a clue about strategy, not to mention breaking it down into aligned tasks for your staff. What we expect is any kind of leaders capable of a little bit more than approving our vacation requests and counting on self-assessment notes to learn what their staff been really doing whole year.
No spoon feeding needed here - just a tiny spoon of support and a kind word once a year will do. Still too much to ask for, huh?

No not unique, we expect self starters, self motivated individuals who preferably don't need spoon feeding, what leadership are you looking for? Someone to wipe your back end maybe? Are you a child?
