Did he jump into retirement or was he pushed?

His compensation last year was $16,750,300.00. No joke..,that’s $16M+. So the next time someone posts a complaint about managers or MBA degreed employees’ pay, think about who you should really about.
He was getting paid in the 8 figures annually. Don't cry for me, Argentina
Who cares??
John Stephens sold Wall St. on $180 billion debt, got big bonuses for himself and Randall Stephenson and left the shareholders holding bag!!!
Who cares as long as the checks clear?
The John's were like oil and water. Did not share the same ideas on strategy. No one with a sound mind would work for JTS.
He engineered the financial fiasco and wanted to get out before the collapse!!
What?? You mean John Stephens (not Stevens). His retirement was announced last year…he stayed on past his retirement date of spring of this year as a consultant….He’s 60…after 27-28 years….I’m sure he’s ready for his next chapter. The man’s loaded and still young enough to continue to work if he chooses and also enjoy life. He was hardly ‘pushed out.’
Also try to keep up….this is old news
No set at the table once RLS retired.
I think he knew the future.
