What are your thoughts about potential CIGNA layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

They outsource their licensed agents for AEP and dangle the proverbial carrot that the best will be considered for permanent employment at a later date. That's a farce. They've been hiring contract workers to fill these positions for years. Then they give these folks a schedule that changes every single week and may include 14-21 day straight no time off.
Trump did huge business cuts and massive jobs were sent overseas. Biden came into office and cigna paused on pushing jobs overseas because the taxes went way higher(even higher than Obama). However since the people were hired, cigna has been mass training those people overseas on all our jobs and are trying to have a “comfortable” split between offshore and onshore. Anyones job is in question. The scary part is 2024.
We’re you 50 years old or maybe older. That’s what happened to me. Cigna practices “Ageism” in a BIG way!
Yep, I was just laid off. 14 years of service, with no warning. Job was "eliminated."
not sure they’re going to have many people left to layoff
