How likely is that there will be American Express layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

What department?
With the rate hikes we are surely going to see layoffs in the financial services sector im in a new dept at amex and not even out of training and they just trained us to work in 3 departments I’m not a contractor and a US based employee I feel like the department I was hired for is so new they may just gut it and send us to work in other departments so I’m just trucking through hoping for the best but I do feel uncertain of the future especially since I’m new
