This is why I put in minimal hours with minimal effort. I’m not incentivized to try or care. All hail the king!
Profits now go to upper management and variable dividends.
If you’re one of the unfortunate people that gets stock automatically cashed out, you get nothing extra just extra work.
If you get stock grants, it won’t do any good until your stock vests so you’re semi-screwed. It depends how the VD is at that point down the road.
Long story short, don’t hold your breath on big bonuses. This VD will consume all the money that previously went to employees as bonuses and raises, but now only benefits the employees who have many shares like executives, the board, and large investors. This was a fundamental switch in monetary priority that took place in plain sight and had to be sold to employees. The employees won’t be happy at all over the next few years once they see how much money goes to so few people and investors!
Greedy entitled bast*rds, get out from under the Pioneer umbrella and see how the real world is!
On the other hand, any profit is going to upper management, it's going to be a great Christmas for their families. You will get a one-year membership to the jelly of the month club, the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.
