Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

stepping stone

If nothing else, it’s good to know that this was a great stepping stone for many. I’m talking to some people who are earning a lot more now. Some have told me they earn 30-40 percent more.
It seems that to get higher pay the only solution is to leave Xerox?

Time to abandon ship captain. Lower the lifeboats 🛳
At this point xerox better hope they are insured by Lloyd’s of London. 💰

20% more, 4 day week all remote for a software startup. Good people skills and problem solving skills are always in demand. I was a colour analyst in Vancouver and made it out to an industry where I can grow. Good luck.

You are being put into the crosshairs of the virus for way less pay, definitely less healthcare then the customers who you service. Who’s cheating who? Stay in you position if you think Xerox is going to feed your family which is living paycheck to paycheck. But hey you employees who are making 70,000 or more a year then you might as well grab it until the bottom falls out.

Layoff loyal workers with experience. Replace with younger willing to work for less. Newbies stay about a year then shop dubious value of xerox “experience” on resume… it’s a win/win/win/win! Laidoffemployee/newemployee/xerox/customer

Unemployment would be higher pay than staying at xerox.
