I'm thinking about how I would feel if I was at the top of a company that is the worst company year after year. Would I be ashamed? Almost everyone would be ashamed. I don't know what those at the top feel like? What do you think? Or maybe they are convinced that someone else is to blame for everything bad that is happening here?

The creation and poison of Jim Vena. Will be tough to recover the UP culture for generations to come.
The game is he wants to act like he cares for the tv cameras and courage to care videos without actually caring
Why would he feel ashamed? He's got millions of dollars, and is entirely convinced he's doing what's best for the company. When the metaphorical ball of sh1t gains momentum and realizes the company is imploding, he'll be retired. I doubt that any executive at the palace has even given a single thought about any of it. Those executives are going to do what they've always done and point the finger. I was at the UP for a few decades, and I never saw any person on the management side take responsibility for a single damn thing.
Depends on your definition of worst company. The employees hate working here and the Glassdoor reviews are horrible. In the flip side, the company is very successful financially and the shareholders and Wall Street approve of how the company is ran. Obviously the execs value the opinions of its largest shareholders and Wall Street analysts more than the opinions of its employees. It sucks for us, but they don’t care. We mean absolutely nothing to the executive team, board of directors, and majority stockholders.
Yeah I think they feel rich AF
Fritz net worth is 161 million. I don't think he cares about anyone or anything to get to where he is at.
