It’s such a horrible and aggressive micromanagement, that at times it’s ridiculous what managers, who should never have become managers, do to their employees. I have never experienced such destructive control anywhere. That person controls absolutely everything and does so in a very ugly way. I guess their job should be to inspire people to do better and more, not to demoralize them to a point where they lose their enthusiasm for work?

WOW! This sounds like my old manager when I worked there 2 years ago. He was an absolute nightmare with micromanaging...what an awful word too. Thank God our unit went to India. Best thing that happened. I agree with others here. You'll never be as good as the AI that will replace you. Truly, get yourself into a normal functioning place. Good luck.

That’s part of the cult culture they’ve been running since the 90’s. Only stick around if you have to. It’s not going to get better. They have a data orientation, as opposed to a human orientation. They put on a good face for the general public but the way they treat their employees is sinister and corrupt. Drink the kool aid or leave. They don’t care about you or your satisfaction with the company.
