Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

OSHA vs executive order - today's update.

In the updated guidance, it says that they are not following osha but are following the executive order because the osha mandate doesn't include federal workers.

I was under the impression the osha mandate is for all, and how could the executive order differ in that it's a 6 month temporary order. Is this a legal issue?

So if we have a different opinion on a vaccine or our own bodies, we don’t care about people and all we want to do is create problems for others, and hurt people. Hmmmm… okay….

It’s not a crime or a sin to have a different opinion on this. No company or government agency has the right to inject you with something you don’t want. Last time I checked I am not in the military.

We shouldn’t have to live in a lepar colony on an isolated island in the pacific, because we disagree. I know I have a lot of company that feels this way.

I have had covid and recovered. I still don’t want the vaccine. My choice. It’s not that hard to respect people’s choices. But xerox doesn’t want that. So thats why I left this place, just recently. My choice. Not theirs.

The virus doesn’t care.
It’s only job is to replicate where a hospitable environment exists.

Every company is making it up as they go along. That’s what being in the middle of history looks like.

If you don’t want to protect yourself, fine, but I’d prefer if you didn’t ki-l my family. We’ve already lost one grandparent to this.

Stop being as-----s and care a little about other people around you.

The people at Xerox who are running this train wreck of an employee mandate are all part and parcel of leftist Washington DC. How does the head of Xerox Government Sales also act as a licensed Washington lobbyist? This is the same person who flew around on Obama's AF1 with Ursula. if you think this company devises policy independent of Democrat administrations, you are insane. What's even more crazy are the number of Non-Xerox devices you see whenever cameras catch a printer or copy machine in the White House or anywhere else in Federal government. Maybe our government sales teams should spend more time selling our products instead of hobnobbing with the intelligentsia of DC.

Congress is exempted from the mandate.

The entire Postal service is exempted from the mandate.

Millions of people who are retired and getting Social Security are exempted from the mandate.

Don't all of those people still go out in public and mingle with other people too?

On what date did I turn into a federal contactor? First I've heard of it.
Just because the company has federal contracts? Nothing to do with me.

"you're all diseased! you need to get the shot by december 8th or you're fired! wait this just in from the gov.... well now you're not diseased until january 4th! ..with maybe waiting until march 1st to be terminated now! that'll show ya! filthy!"

what a scam. hope the court sticks to it and this mandate disappears.

I just don't understand how we don't have to follow the osha enforcement when the previous email said we did. Now we are following the executive order? The executive order states that osha is to enforce this, and that we can test out according to the executive order. We seem to not be following anything.

They haven't a clue. Its almost like Xerox has just as much of a close as this government administration does.
