TT and the top 5 got a 20 million bonus to have a incentive to keep this company running. Now let's move to the present. Where are you today as a employee? Any bonuses for you? Didn't think so.

Giving TT a bonus is like giving the Captain of Titanic a bonus for ramming the iceberg. Poorest excuse for a leader I’ve seen in 3 decades of telecom. A garbage human.

Could many of those employees have been blinded by the 'we'll take care of our own' workplace mentality of Corporate America from the 50's and 60's? Many probably wanted to believe that the company was looking out for the employee with good healthcare and pay and bonuses that rewarded a good day of work. WTF actually happened?

Reality set in and only the LR5 took in good pay and retention bonuses for ruining a decent company. Workers also didn't better themselves with company paid training courses that would enable these workers to eventually find a better opportunity with another company. Yes, WE did offer that to employees, so they have nobody to cry to but themselves when their entire life savings - that they foolishly put all in WE stock - wiped them out.

The LR5 led the former company into bankruptcy, but the employee is responsible for their own well-being, not the company. Some employees need to grow a pair and own their own career. Shame on you for believing WE would take care of you, and shame on you for not caring more for your career by not learning other skills.

Sarcasm aside, failing up to a mid-level management position is how many at "W" have advanced their careers. Being a toady to upper management is a large part of the equation. With this top heavy corporation, it's not hard for the flatterers to find a VP that wants his ego stroked.

While employees were deciding if they could take their children to the doctors due to the cuts to employee healthcare TT paid himself NFL QB money. The LR5 made more than all athletes on a few pro sports franchises, they certainly made more than all the florida marlins baseball players combined. All this while in a recession and running the company into the ground. TT is a special kind of greedy sc-m. Usually this kind of villian is reserved for TV. No raises for employees while they made 8 figures annually, incredible.

TT bled that pig dry……Windstream was a fortune 500 company when he took over. Now its a shell of a company waiting for the vultures to finish off the carcass. Say what you will about him, bit he is a financial genius. Not from a company perspective, but he has personally banked over $100M since he took over. He is dancing all the way to the bank as windstream burns in his rear view mirror while the employees are chained to their desks. I cant believe he conned that many employees to stay on and go down with the ship. He took in 7 figure bonues while not giving any raises and slashing your fanilies healthcare every single year. Wake the he-l up people.
