Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Is this utter disrespect or what?

I understand that they are trying to figure out to whom exemption will be approved, and to whom not, how many and which employees they need for now, and which they will get rid of..but..it is utter disrespect to leave employees in suspense for so long whether their exemption will be approved. Why do they need so much time?

Time is money. They, however, respect only their time.

I agree with you. It is ridiculous how they are handling this. Also, you do not have to conform to one particular religion that condemns vaccines. By law all you have to have is a sincerely held religious belief which conflicts with the vaccination. This does not have to be one of the major religions or major denominations of religion. The law does not state the religion has to be a mainstream or major religion. It is your own personal religious beliefs. Anyone who wants to argue that needs to read Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act.

There are very few "medical conditions" that would call for an exemption and fewer based on religious exemptions. It would seem prudent to start looking for another job, at a very tiny (less than 100 employees) company and quit waiting for an exemption that is not going to happen.

It is truely disgusting. Anyone who wrote a decent exemption should be approved. Quit the waiting game and ball busting, these people want to work, they don’t want free money, just let them be.
