So what do you think allstate will do to those that choose not to get vaccinated since they will comply with the government mandate

Out of curiosity, did you read those articles? Because they don't prove what you think they prove.
Do you understand why vaccinated people are getting Covid, in higher numbers? Because the longer Covid sticks around, the more people will end up infected due to variants, and vaccine efficacy. Why is Covid still around? Well, your own article shows it's due to the unvaccinated. Your article (1 in 5 hospitalized fully vaccinated) does two things, it shows that the unvaccinated are the ones clogging up the hospitals (which is not what you were trying to prove - 20% vaccinated to 80% unvaccinated), and it shows the ones clogging up the hospitals are the ones keeping the virus around, hence the constant influx of patients. Well done.
Here's another way of looking at it. For anyone who has kids, or maybe multiple adults living together in the same house, or even if you work in an office. Have you ever had one person get sick, pass it to others in the house/office, get better, then get sick again because someone passes it back to you. Every parent I know has had that happen. With everything from a stomach bug, to the common cold. Every. Parent. I. Know. Variants.
Also, from your WSJ article:
"Myocarditis describes inflammation of the heart muscle, while pericarditis refers to inflammation of the sac surrounding the muscle.
Covid-19 itself can cause both conditions. They have also been reported in a smaller number of people who got an mRNA vaccine, most commonly in men under 30 years and adolescent males.
About 877 confirmed cases of myocarditis in vaccinated people under 30 years have been reported in the U.S., out of 86 million mRNA vaccine doses administered, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."
So you post an article that states COVID causes both myocarditis and pericarditis, and yet only 877 confirmed cases out of 86 million doses in vaccinated people. Keep posting articles, you are only helping the vaccinated prove their points.

Undeniable facts (unless your Google is broke and / or Hannity is all you use for for data)
- FOUR BILLION vaccines have been administered globally with a similar adverse reaction profile as the flu vaccine
- 95% of ICU Covid patients are not vaccinated.
- Areas that shun masks and the vaccine on average have the highest illness, ICU, and death rates.
- Employers and taxpayers are paying BILLIONS in unnecessary hospital bills for the unvaccinated in ICUs.
- Not wearing a mask is not a Constitutional right.
@2shp+1dE5mm18 I think I saw you waiting for JFK Jr in Dallas.
Please put down the kool aid.
WASHINGTON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - A U.S. federal appeals court issued a stay Saturday freezing the Biden administration's efforts to require workers at U.S. companies with at least 100 employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly, citing "grave statutory and constitutional" issues with the rule.
I went to a competitor and if you work from home there is just a small surcharge on your pay. They aren’t firing people for not getting it if you aren’t an office worker.

Hey Dr. 2shp. Let’s make a deal. You agree that you are the last Neanderthal to be walking the earth, knuckles scrapping the ground of course and I will agree that you are the d-mbest person to ever post on this site.
Why is it that only the sheeple who understand risk are the ones who are getting the vax and wearing masks in crowds.
Real freedom patriots who ride motorcycles without helmets, get drunk at the Friday fish fry and drive home anyway, and smoke in the car when the grandkids are in it no matter what our daughter-in-law says... we aren't going to do nothin' in response to a pandemic that's taken 700,000 lives because being stupidly defiant is what made this country what it is!
Hurr durr!!!1!!1!!!
@2shp-FOAD.
@2caz+1dE5mm18 More fake news. Just like CNN & the blue team. As usual the vaccinated are the ones always talking cr-p.
If you aren’t vaccinated regardless of where you work you will be terminated.
If you ever had to go to the office or event and then spread or caught Covid the liability for them will be extensive.
Companies on the whole are keeping the same requirements for all regardless of work location.
I’m sure everyone on this board will say otherwise but if you think you know more than the people who created these vaccines you wouldn’t be worried about the performance of this company.
The only ones that need a vaccine or weekly tested are office workers. As long as we stay working from home and don't go to the office we don't need to follow the mandate
Does anyone believe Allstate is going to be willing to pay a $14,000 per employee fine? They will/have kicked employees to the curb for less.
Our director Liv said if you want to still have a job come January you better get it.
Dear Mr/Ms sheep herder ** "Why is it the only people still worried about the covid are the ones who are vaccinated?" ** 1. We like to annoy you 2. We feel bad for all the fake news watchers 3. We feel sorry for all the adults that never got over their fear of needles 4. We would not like to see friends-family-coworkers have serious complications from a virus 5. We want to stay healthy so as not to interfere with our job search.
@1snt+1dE5mm18 good point
You all sound so tough with what you'll do and say. Ooooh.
In reality, you'll get the shot. If not, you would have been gone by now, because you see it's coming to that.
Why is it the only people still worried about the covid are the ones who are vaccinated?
How come the o my people still worried about covid ate the ones who are vaccinated?…..
Bottom line…. Over 90% of Allstate employees in the USA are home based workers…. So how can Allstate mandate any vaccine? Just don’t get why the vaccinated are already so worried about the non vaccinated.
Love the legal references…you guys ever hear of Roe v Wade? How is that working out. Things change folks. Get a shot or deal with consequence. Simple
The unvaxxed will have a lot of time off for the holidays. Dont forget the flu shot as well. Saving Allstate $$ one unvaxxed person at a time, no severence, no unemployment. This would be a dream come true for the greedy fat cat carpetbaggers.
You better start doubting. Last week the US Supreme Court refused to to hear a mandatory vaccine case brought by the state of Maine. That case was a lot more Germaine than the Ohio workers comp case. Get that GED-it will help you.
Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905), was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court upheld the authority of states to enforce compulsory vaccination laws. The Court's decision articulated the view that individual liberty is not absolute and is subject to the police power of the state.
While this involved state law and not federal, I have no doubt the current Supreme Court would uphold the mandate, based on this precendent.
@1djw-you are being funny right. You don’t seriously believe workers compensation is an element of the Constitution. When you said “learn the law and learn the constitution “ you were standing in front of a mirror right? No more out of you until you get that GED!
Umm-an Ohio State case has nothing to do with the US constitution. Did you go to school?
Learn the law and learn about the Constitution. It’s really not that difficult.
Ohio Supreme Court (1934) held in Spicer Mfg. Co. v. Tucker that an employee's death resulting from a smallpox vaccination was covered under the Workers' Compensation Act. The decision was based primarily upon the fact that the employer required the employee to obtain the vaccine as a condition of continued employment.
@1jfw-you are an id--t. View something other than faux news.
@qrz+1dE5mm18. More fake news.
There are no constitutional rights regarding vaccines-just shows the stupidly of people that reference that. Allstate does NOT have the option to ignore the vaccine mandate, especially with a potential fine of $14,000 per infraction. Employees do have an option vax or vacate.
More fake news. Allstate is not doing a vivid vaccine mandate….
Back again Brandt? @awr+1dE5mm18
Or is it the Mrs. out trolling again?
Three words, "at will employee".
Get the vaccine or get a new job, you plague rats.
Just say NO! A mandate is NOT a law.
Good luck with that. While I'm vaccinated and think others should be too, this is a government overreach.
I will require a representative of and for Allstate to sign a binding agreement that Allstate will be financially responsible to myself and/or heirs should any illness or death occur subsequent to my having to take a vaccine under duress, against my Constitutional right and conscience as a requirement for my continued employment
