This is how you keep your job and keep the lower levels down if you are a top AIG manager.
You don't assist in getting information for your employees. You tell them to get the information themselves. They have a hard time getting it because other departments often don't like sharing. Then in a big management meeting, you show them who's boss by asking for that information and watching them scramble to find a polite way to say that the other departments refused it. Bonus points if the head of the other department actually asks why they aren't using that information.

I’ve noticed a complete lack of knowledge in IT for many systems. Why, you ask? Because all the historical knowledge was riffed. Enjoy executing AIG200 and L&R separation! I’m sure the street will be impressed by the bungling.
Finally, what will they name the two new companies, D-mb and D-mber?
Make sure to blame them for not having a sense of humor about it all, too.
Bonus points too if they don't get help the first few times they ask for help. Then after they give up, you blame them for not asking for help.
