Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Under the hood of Mach-E

Ahhhhh I want to scream. I have the same headache when I open the hood of Mercedes W108.

And it is an EV!

I know that there was extensive training by the FSD to all technical and sales personal prior to the BEV rollout.

If the sale person omitted this during their sales presentation to that customer they should be fired.

Certainly agree with the poster that references battery performance/efficiency vs Ford issue. But when you read the posts, Mach-E buyers sound like they are just learning this now without any data shared by Ford.

Personally, I would be very disappointed to learn this after my purchase instead of before.

I guess its better to have a sale than a happy, informed customer...

Ford does post the factors limiting range on the Mach E website.

https://www.ford.com/suvs/mach-e/

The all BEV's included Tesla, have dedicated temperature control systems to keep the battery operating at optimal conditions.

The vehicle can be programmed to acclimate the battery temperature before you drive. All BEV's will suffer range lose if the battery is not at operating temperature.

As one of the posters commented, this is a "battery chemistry problem".
This is the nature of all BEV's not a Ford problem.

No one better to ask than Mach-E owners.

Big wake up call on mileage with the changes in temps in the North.

The future stock price depends on customers commitment to the brand, their platforms, quality, and resale values.

We shouldn’t make the choice so hard for customers, new or old.

Imagine that, and the stock keeps going up, 49.7% YTD!

Besides the very few people commenting on this blog, your opinions seem to be in the very small minority compared public opinion as a whole.

Overwhelmingly, the general public and real stakeholders in the company continue to believe and support the product lines.

Junk under the frunk. Manufactured with the lowest cost products sourced around the world. Like the Wizard of Oz, don’t look behind the curtain.

All kidding aside, recalls continue as a testimony to what the Mach-E truly is.

Anyone who thinks the Lightning or other Ford EV’s will be better will also be disappointed.
