Even in a record year for State Farm along with the pandemic be prepared to get nothing but average rating at the end of the year. It's funny on the homepage I see an article about attracting and retention of employees. Lies I tell you. The new changes coming mean nothing. Cost of living has went up drastically and yet this company is prepared to give you peanuts unless you're at the top of the food chain. I'm constantly looking for better opportunities. It's like the old saying you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

Hubs are going 3 weeks remote. 1 week in office. Why are you freaking out? State Farm has leased out a lot of their buildings in hub locations. 3 weeks remote is much better than a lot of companies.
Lies.
Go look at the boards in Allstate, National General, Liberty Mutual, and Progressive.
They are complaining about going back into the office full time. There are a few exceptions, but these companies tend to model one another. Id--t.
State Farm hubs are 4 week cycles 3/4 weeks remote, 1 week in office.
State Farm in Tempe leased its buildings to Carvana (who are bringing everyone back in office).
State Farm doesn’t have the room for full time staff.
You are just an instigator.
Allstate, National General, Liberty Mutual, and Progressive are all hiring for permanent fully remote positions that pay $10,000 to $15,000 more for starting claims positions. But clearly the powers that be at State Farm would rather stick their head in the sand and pretend that people should just be grateful to have a drastically underpaid position with a toxic work environment rather than face the reality that with computers and high speed internet people now have options they didn’t have before with remote positions elsewhere. They’re foolish, unless they want to start paying decent wages for their claims departments and other departments they’ll continue to have major problems retaining talented employees and hiring new talented employees .
I left State Farm for a claims position elsewhere. Sure it’s a stressful job, claims always is, but at least I’m now being well compensated and treated with respect.
Makes sense. You are mot entitled to have a job. You earn it daily and should feel fortunate to bring home the bacon
Management thinks we are still "just lucky to have jobs"
I'd venture a guess the risk is losing mental heath
Can you educate me on the risk you are taking?
Retirements and the fact they are losing talent to Rivian and elsewhere. It's a new day you can't micromanage and treat people like id--ts anymore. Loving this Great Resignation it has inspired me to seek other opportunities as well.
I agree. I rolled my eyes when I saw that in the homepage today. With everyone slowly being forced to go back in the office I bet they feel a little worried there will be a lot of folks leaving. He-l the retirements have been plentiful already lol.
