I don't want to think about whether my store is next to be closed anymore so I gave notice. This no longer looks like a serious company, but more like a total mess.

I would say that in this company there is absolutely nothing left that is healthy and functional?
I had worked there for many years before I called it quits. Can't even imagine that it has gotten worse there, since it was an already toxic environment when I was there (not to mention the aggressive push to shove that worthless $25 membership card in customers faces}. I knew when they got rid of all their full-time, more experienced, staff less than four years ago that it wasn't going to be much longer for them. Quite frankly, I'm still very much surprised that B&N is still in business. Even with these changes from new ownership, is too little, too late, IMO.
Want to leave so bad…
So. Leave ! Companies are begging for employees ! You can stay and take it or leave .

Every since our store manager was fired at my location the store has completely fallen apart and has become a toxic workplace. It’s really sad what is happening here, the remaining managers have taken advantage of the situation and created a hostile environment with some truly unethical antics that you would not even believe. Want to leave so bad…
