but rather because I'm hoping that I will find myself on the layoff list. Sounds a little ugly so those who are afraid of losing their jobs please forgive me, but I would do anything to be on that layoff list. I think there are many more who would be happy to get laid off?
I heard some rumors that there might be some cuts soon but these are still just rumors, no one has any detailed info.

Wait to get laid off.
I know a former employee that got laid off. He collected unemployment for over1 1/2 yrs. With the extra covid benefits he made just as much as when he worked here. He recently got a job and is very happy.
Not harsh at all. I blame Senior Management. Get laid off and then move on to new job with higher wages and sign on bonus. I am right there with you. Definitely DO NOT quit, work harder or train the newbies for management
Well we are in the last stretch of the year financially. We are not making piles of cash as our leadership wants us to believe. We are really just a company selling prepackaged Zoom and SDWAN. We still have a ton of overhead and a TDM network as a boat anchor. I don't see how we function with 11,000 people going forward. Maybe all of the unvaxxed people getting let go January 1st will right the ship.
Thanks for sharing that you hope to lose your job. Just quit.
