Where do employees go to address any employee issue?
When can we talk to our first line leaders about any issue we may have? Better yet, what can they do for us if all they do all day is run reports to satisfy the never ending thirst for data the psychopaths on top can’t seem to satisfy?
Perfect set up to have the minions head down with no ways to address any issues affecting us as employees.

I’m in the retirement process right now. Thank goodness. I called HR recently with a question on how to rollover my 401k. Called several times, got 4 minutes of prompts. They sent a PIN # to key in. I did so and it sent me to the prompts again. Finally held on for another 20 minutes and someone answered. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the system and he says ,’we know the system is confusing and there is no place to put the PIN #’. I was floored!!! Then went on to say I couldn’t rollover my 401k until after I retire. I corrected him advising after 59 1/2 you can. Oh, I will transfer you to the payments department. Terrible customer service to its own employees!
@brrm-woof woof.
The real function of HR is to keep you at bay so that a lawsuit wont arise. Only there to help themselves.
Lots tight “relations” in HR, 3rd party vendors and related employees and politics. Reducing tech debt won’t solve bigger issues. But they will keep the big money and decision close to home. Isn’t family sweet
When one of the heads of HR is juggling Elizabeth Warren on Fbook and social media. It’s clear how woke and agenda driven tge company is. And promotes exploiting and promoting the worst folks. ET is a prime example
Former hr rep. Remember that open door policy? More like trap door.. HR is not a place for grievances. It’s function is to supply the departments with people who toe the line. Wanna know how much gets swept under the rug? At the highest levels?
HR is absolutely nothing more than a call center at this point. And HR looking out and making policies to protect the employer is nothing new or unique to SF.
considering how woke hr is not sure if you could really expect a fair shake there.
The modern day HR department in most companies primary mission is to protect the company FROM their employees. Any additional duties are just froth.
Your first mistake was assuming that HR was there for you. HR is there for Management to help with the documentation process and firing people. They are not there to help with any issues that you may have.
You are nothing to them. The sooner you realize it the better!
