People Leaders?
Is that really what we're referring to managers and directors as now? Sounds like something that you'd hear coming out of China.
The company probably paid some consulting firm a few million to come up with that after a 9 month study.
The garbage stuff we come up with now. Can't we just focus on doing our actual job? You know, being a health insurance company. Remember that?
“People leaders” sounds like someone is pulling around a line of people on a tow rope. “Everybody hold onto the rope so you stay in a straight line and organized!”
There are very few leaders here - the good ones don’t last because this company doesn’t want leaders. They want yessirs.
Industry standard defined 'People Leader' job duties are why it is so easy to rif mid-level managers during cuts.
