So yes I have 38 years telecom experience and centurylink level 3 was the last horray Met a lot of nice people but the managers are evil self absorbed no talent and have ruined lives of people I care about oh and they still have jobs !!!! So delete this if you want but I hate hate hate every person of management position they have ruined lives and I hope the train pulls in that stAtion fir them

Maybe if we tried to make employees happy we’d bend over backwards to help the customers and company would succeed. Instead they lie tell us everything is great cut more jobs spend more money with packages to cut Liability Hire new people to half a-s train let them . Let them mess up customers accounts Customers are leaving in groves. Rinse and repeat.
Instead of begging for help they’d rather be co--y and cut some more. Seems storey is just trying to pair down company for merger until he and the rest of the exes get their golden parachute.
Think about Di-k Noteabart and how he changed Qwest coming from the brink of bankruptcy that’s what we should be doing instead of driving us further apart.
Maybe the layoffs should come top down until we get it corrected for real.
Yep, the manager I had in Greenville, SC she didn't have a clue, worst management skills of anyone I ever worked for, she had her do boy programmed and his personality sucked. Best thing I ever done was jump off that sinking ship.
So excuse mr Baffoon - let me be more detailed - I was with ATT for 22 - and yes in the CWA for some of that time - the best most fun group of folks that are still my friends - then they I took their VSP - and landed at Level 3 - then CLINK then the beat goes on - I retired - but at ATT god old days the managers helped and they did their job unlike the sneaky liars at CLINK - do who is the baffon now ??
I love when someone laments about how cr---y their company is yet stays there for 38 years and clearly to afraid to leave for a better opportunity. Oh if the math is correct you spent around 13 years in the business before competition was an issue, my guess is when someone asked for 5 hours instead of 4 it all went to sh-t right?? The quality of the Managers and the Executive Leadership team is completely represented in the stock price! What an absolute disaster!
They keep the managers because they do as they are told: Push, cajole, enforce, criticize, berate, yell, threaten, fire, replace, blame others for their mistakes, deny raises, etc.
Level 3 has been this way for a long time. They would prefer you quit on your own so that they don't have to pay severance. They lay off every single year, all year.
I never met a Level3 manager that had not " sold his soul ". The Best managers quit or retired because they would not. TRUTH
