Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

I'm happy to see more and more people leaving

I'm happy that so many are landing in situations better than this one. Let's be honest, at this point, it's hard to find something that wouldn't be better than State Farm. In addition, more people leavening voluntarily hopefully means fewer layoffs, which is important for those of us who are stuck here for now. I don't see a downside to it (other than for the ELT since the loss of talent will be felt sooner or later, but that part doesn't worry me.)

@fcv+1d0sbNHG Literally the only company I’ve worked for that have more than one metric, and impossible without a perfect day goals to reach for. Also pays like it, not in a good way.

It is great to see so many people leaving!!! Hopefully it will continue. The arrogant and incompetent leadership needs some hard lessons. Maybe they will be held painfully accountable.

All insurance companies are stressful. Quit crying or move to a different industry. A different Industry where there are no metrics or stress…. which is fantasy land.
