Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Funny how press refers to this as defective windshield. It’s the assembly process error that causes this but FORD skillfully makes it look like a vendor issue. Wonder what Ford execs and family see when they look in a mirror. Can’t be anything to be proud of.

Don't worry about it.
The only publicity ford gets is what it pays cash for.

Just saying, Ford vehicles that are still on the road from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc don't have windshields that fly out randomly.
What is going on with the company and quality??

Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E models due to defective panoramic sunroofs. This recall follows a similar campaign initiated in Canada.

The defect: in affected vehicles, the glass panel of the panoramic sunroof may not be properly attached.

The hazards: in affected vehicles, the glass portion of the panoramic sunroof could become loose and separate from the vehicle.

Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.

Components: panoramic sunroof glass.

Affected vehicles: select 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E models produced at the Ford Cuautitlan Assembly Plant.

Number of vehicles affected: 13,544 vehicles

What an absolute embarrassment to Ford for putting vehicles on the road in this condition.

Quality is again missing at every step and Ford expects customers now to be the “canaries in the cave.”
