Long term suffering

How long have you been thinking about leaving here? It’s amazing to me that there are people here who have been doing work they hate for years. Why hesitate to get out of here?
It’s not that hard to find a job now unless you have no marketable skills at all. I started looking for a new job a month ago and I already got a better offer.

my area has nothing at the moment, this job is still easy if you know how to deal with karens and put them in their place. i dont try nearly as hard as i use to due to comm changes but im staying til i can find something down the rd

The job is simple (but stressful). Health benefits and 6 weeks of vacation is the reason most stay. Starting at a new company would be more exhausting and with less pay and possibly less health benefits. We have been trapped. They won.

If you get a new job you might actually have to work. Can't beat clerking phones and dealing with karens and kens for near $30/hr. If I was making anything less I'd dip
